Circular Clock model for circular economy implementation in firms: Balance between theory and practice

Purpose: The circular economy is a key issue for any company, city, or institution. linear model, based on "take, make, use and waste" of products resources, has discarded potentially valuable resources caused serious contamination problems. In contrast, the (CE) model strategic paradigm whose purpose to regenerate conserve through closed material loops sustainable energy in its processes. Therefore, growing number companies are applying different tools techniques implement CE principles innovate their products, services, processes, achieving promising results. Thus, main objective this study suggest an implementation named “Circular clock” set which firms may implementing CE.Design/methodology/approach: paper presents empirical analysis triangulation method that includes three data sources: semi-structured interviews Spain, academic literature books, non-academic publications from institutions consultancy firms. Findings: most relevant result proposal Circular Clock six fields action define literature: take, distribute, use, recover, industrial symbiosis.
